What is permanently deleted

• Your sign-in credential — you will no longer be able to log in.
• Your profile photo.
• All exam attempts and the answers you submitted.
• All scores, results, rank and analytics data.
• All bookmarked questions.
• Any feedback you submitted about exams.
• Your access to every test series you had purchased or been given.

Any exam in progress at the time of deletion is lost, and no refund is issued for access you had purchased.

What we keep, and why

If you have ever bought a test series from us, we retain your name and email address as they appear on those invoices, together with the payment records themselves — order reference, amount, tax fields, and which series was purchased.

Indian tax law requires an invoice to carry the buyer's name, and requires us to keep these records for 8 years. We cannot honour a request to erase them before then. They are held strictly as financial records: they cannot be used to sign in, and we do not use them to contact you or for any other purpose. They are removed when the corresponding invoices are.

If you never made a purchase, nothing about you is retained beyond the record of the deletion request itself.

How long it takes

Requests are reviewed by our team. If approved, your data is deleted within 30 days. We do not send email updates about deletion requests — sign in to this page at any time to see the current status. To withdraw a request before it is actioned, email support@duramater.in.
